In this drawing we had to place three cups on our table and draw them. We had to focus on several elements of composition. On of the first elements is the paper orientation, I made mine vertical because the cups did not take up much space and because of their shape a horizontal drawing would just look off. We also had to focus on balance and whether or not there was equal space throughout the drawing. I think i did very well on this but I could have moved everything to the right a little bit to make it even better. Another essential element was the height of the bases of the cups. WE had to make sure their base was where it should be to convey the correct placement. My cups were in a triangle shape so the one in the middle had to be closer to the bottom to convey depth. And final we had to focus on proportions to make sure everything is the right size in comparison to other cups. I did this by making a few measurements and comparisons. I think this was a really good first drawing and I believe I learned a lot from it.
