This was our first full length drawing and it was a still life of three chosen objects. We had to focus on everything we have learned so far. Obviously was had to focus on composition, which includes the orientation of the paper, proportions, height of the bases, and balance. I think I did very well on this. We also had to focus on how light or dark parts of our drawing are, this is called value range. I think I did really well on this because you can see a lot of contrast and you cal see a full range of shades. We also had to remember line quality. That is how dark, light, thick, or thin your line is. Once again I think I did very well on this but I wish I had some cleaner lines. Finally we had to focus on DaVinci's six parts of light. I did this mostly well but on some parts like the big cup I think I over blended so it got too dark and flat overall. In the end I am quite happy with this and I can see improvement over my last drawing. If i were to do it over again I would only try to render the handle a little more because it looks out of place and I would try to get more tree texture on the big cup.
