In this drawing we had to look at a mirror and draw ourselves, all while still focusing on many criteria. One of the most important things we had to focus on was the proportions of our drawing. If a drawing is proportional that's means all of the features are the correct size in relation to everything else. I made sure everything in my drawing was proportional according to the notes we took in class. We also had to add a background so there would not be a lot of white paper and it would make the drawing look more complete. I made sure to add my background very early so it could fit all around the wrest of the drawing. Like our past drawings we had to make sure we had a full value scale from light to dark. I think I did a good job of making sure I had very dark and light parts in my drawing. And finally we had to focus on shadows to make sure all of the features looked like they had the correct form and shape. I think I did very good at this and I think I did it very accurately. If I had to do the drawing over again I would probably do something to make the eyes look less alarmed and I would make my neck look smaller.
